The Selection Process for Army (General Duty) are :-

1. Written Examination (CBT)
2. Physical Test
3. Medical Test

2. Educational Qualification

1. SSLC / Matric with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject.
2. No percentage considered in case candidate has passed with higher qualification i.e. 10 +2 and above

3. Age Limit

The Age limit for Army (General Duty) are

1. Minimum – 17.5 Years 
2. Maximum – 21 Years

Physical EFFICIENCY Test

Marks for Physical:

1600 METERS RACE

GROUP-1 : Upto 5 min 30 seconds – 60 marks
GROUP-2: From 5 min 31 sec (to) 5 min 45 sec – 48 marks

PULL UPS

• 10 Pull Ups – 40 Marks
• 9 Pull  Ups – 33 Marks
• 8 Pull  Ups – 27 Marks
• 7 Pull  Ups – 21 Marks
• 6 Pull  Ups – 16 Marks

Written Examination Pattern

• Note: Negative Mark 0.5 for each wrong answer
